Join Zorongo Flamenco on a two-part journey that reaches beyond the walls of the Southern Theater and into the splendor of autumn in Minnehaha Falls Park. Inspired by the Spanish poet García Lorca, the site-specific work tells the tragic story of Yerma, a neglected and barren woman. The tale unfolds at the Falls where the audience participates in a pilgrimage with the dancers, captured on film by video artist Lynn Lukkas and featured in the stunning conclusion on the Southern stage. Be part of this one-of-a-kind adventure uniting dancers and audience, nurturing their environment through dance, music and mystery. |
