Performance Length
Approx. 75 minutes, no intermission.
The performances on June 6 and June 13 will be followed by a structured, moderated 20 minutes artist interaction and Q&A session, offering audiences an opportunity for deeper engagement with the themes and creative process of the work.
For the remaining performances (June 5, 7, 12, and 14), the artists will be available on stage for 10–15 minutes post-show for informal conversations, audience interaction, and photos.
Dhara: Echoes of Earth’s Soul is an interdisciplinary dance production by Rituparna Rana, presented through the Southern Theater’s 2026 Performance Partnership Program. Rooted in Indian classical movement vocabularies, the work integrates multimedia storytelling, global soundscapes, and visual design to explore environmental justice through South Asian and diasporic perspectives. Drawing from narratives of land, migration, and marginalized communities, Dharaunfolds as a transformative, embodied journey -inviting audiences to reflect on their relationship with nature, home, and ecological futures.
