Give To The Max Day at The Southern!
Performance Date: Nov 16., 2023 at 7PM
Performance Length: approximately 60 minutes
Unbelievably, 2023 is coming to a close, which means it's nearly time for us to share our next group of Performance Partners for the '23-'24 Performance Partnership Program. This year, we'd like to invite you to an event celebrating this phenomenal cohort of artists on November 16th, which just so happens to be Give To The Max Day!
At this event, you'll get to see three of our Performance Partners share excerpts from their upcoming shows. You'll hear from our small-but-mighty admin team, enjoy light refreshments, and spend an evening socializing in our beautiful space! This event is free to attend, but in the spirit of Give To The Max Day, we will ask for your financial support so we can continue to offer the Performance Partnership Program and new initiatives as we continue to do the great work of maintaining our historic venue and providing a home for Twin Cities' non-traditional and engaging live art!
You'll hear mesmerizing experimental music from May Klug!
You'll giggle at gut-busting, boundary-breaking stand-up comedy from Devohn Bland!
You'll marvel at the dazzling choreography of Amez Dance!
The Southern Theater’s Performance Partnership Program (PPP) is a competitive program that gives artists and non-profit performing arts organizations the opportunity to present their work at The Southern Theater. Our desire in offering this program is to support emerging artists and underrepresented stories, offering a space for individuals and collectives to work on their craft and build an audience without financial burden. We are able to offer this Partnership Program in large part to folks like you who support our work through generous donations.
