Collide Theatrical Dance

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein

Collide re-imagines the classic tale of Frankenstein, told from author Mary Shelley's point of view. An unmarried pregnant teen, Shelley wrote the infamous science-fiction novel not long after the death of her first child and during a period of immense loss and personal suffering. Her remarkable journey is told in parallel with the classic novel through a mix of theatrical dance styles. This beautiful tale is the ultimate story about a human's need for motherly love and connection.

Featuring Patrick Jeffrey (Frankenstein), Renee Guittar (The Creature), and Betsy Nelson (Mary Shelley). Co-directed by Regina Peluso and Heather Brockman.
