Performance Length

Approximately 60 minutes with no intermission.

The dancers arrive and pin on their numbers. They are ready to nail this audition.

The choreographer sits and opens her notebook. She needs to create a masterpiece.

Physical Prizes moves between post-show crash, pre-show contest, and mid-show adrenaline. Process and product blur as a choreographer chases artistic validation, while six dancers wrestle with the expectations that confine them.
