Join us for Tujunge Pamoja (Building Together), an evening of film and devised theatre exploring themes of land, exile, and collective memory. We open with a short documentary film that traces the history of the Congo through a personal story of displacement. Following the film, a devised theatre piece capping off a year of work with Congolese performers and the Nyumbani team. This program brings Congolese narratives to Minnesota audiences while exploring the transformative power of theater.
