The North American Sonic Arts Collective (NASAC) presents the Twin Cities Loudspeaker Orchestra, a 4-concert series of contemporary sound art presented by a consortium of acclaimed local and international composers and sound artists.   

Each concert explores a unique program on a bespoke loudspeaker array built for our partnership with The Southern Theater. Inspired by the European “Acousmonium” — the TC Loudspeaker Orchestra immerses audiences into a powerful, spatial listening experience where the theater itself becomes a surround-sound instrument. Sound artists "diffuse" sound across a network of speakers, creating the sensation of motion, texture, space, and dramatic aural cinematic experiences.
